Mrs. Doris Jordan

Mrs. Doris Jordan passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM at M. C. Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry L. Tanner officiating. Interment was held at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born December 7, 1944 to the parentage of the late Ms. Anne Rose James.

Mrs. Jordan was employed as a nurse for thirty (30) years. She loved helping people any way that she could.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Ms. Darlene Jordan; one aunt: Mrs. Hattie Bell Harris; and seven uncles: Mr. Jessie James, Jr., Mr. Bobby James, Mr. Horace James, Mr. George James, Mr. Alex James, Mr. Albert James and Mr. Morace James.

Mrs. Jordan leaves cherished memories to a devoted aunt: Mrs. Jewel Lucas, Chicago, Illinois; aunts: Mrs. Catherine James, Mrs. Geraldine James, Mrs. Erin James, Tennille, Georgia; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. M. C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
