Mr. Willie "Lee Dell" Grady

Mr. Willie Grady, affectionately known as "Lee Dell," passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Smith Medical Nursing Care Center. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Samuel Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Eric T. Adams officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Grady was born in Tennille, Georgia on February 5, 1946 to the parentage of the late Mr. Robert Grady and Mrs. Irene Grady.

Lee Dell was a 1964 graduate of T.J. Elder High School. After graduation, he relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Mr. Grady moved back to Tennille, Georgia and worked as a mechanic and played guitar in a gospel group.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Ms. Idella Grady, Ms. Gwendolyn Grady and a brother: Mr. Bobby Lee Grady.

Mr. Grady leaves cherished memories to his daughter: Ms. Donna Grady of Tennille, Georgia; son: Mr. Willie Lee Grady, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; sister: Mrs. Doris Grady of Tennille, Georgia; three grandchildren: Layla Burnett, LaBrendin Burnett, Lira Burnett; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
