Ms. Brittany Baker

Ms. Brittany Baker, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at her residence in Atlanta, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jerry Walden officiating.

Ms. Brittany E. Baker, age 22 of Atlanta, Georgia was born on December 16, 1997 to the parentage of Mrs. Yvonne Baker and the late Dea. Arlandis Baker, Sr.

Brittany attended Breakthrough Christian Church in Atlanta. In 2018 she graduated from Frederick Douglass High School. She had a passion for the BB-8 droid character of Star Wars, and she loved railroad tracks. Her favorite steam locomotive is “The Daylight.” Brittany’s nickname became “Daylight.”

She was preceded in death by her father: Deacon Arlandis Baker, Sr.

Brittany leaves cherished memories to her mother: Mrs. Yvonne Baker, Atlanta, Georgia; four sisters: Ms. Nadia Baker, Ms. Cindy Shulterbrandt, Ms. Penny Baker, Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. LaVern Ann Baker, Augusta, Georgia; three brothers: Mr. Terry Baker, Mr. Carlton Baker, Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Arlandis (Loistine) Baker, Jr., Warrenton, Georgia; five aunts: Mrs. Carolyn Kirkland, Mrs. Eloise Frazier, Ms. Rosie Matthews, Mrs. Marie Houston, Mrs. Lillie Reese; two uncles: Mr. Calvin (Elaine) Frazier, Mr. Willie (Inez) Smith; cousin: Ms. Alisa Drummond; family friend: Ms. Naomi Brown; a host of other relatives and friends.
