Mrs. Doris Mathis

Mrs. Doris Mathis, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at M.C. Smith Funeral Home Funeral Home chapel with Elder George Tucker officiating. Interment was held in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

She was born on March 7, 1937 to the parentage of the late Mr. Sammie Wilson, Sr. and the late Ms. Annie Cora English.

Mrs. Mathis was employed by Washington County Regional Medical Center for over thirty five years. She enjoyed attending church, fishing and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Willie James Mathis.

Mrs. Mathis leaves to cherish her memories her son: Mr. Henry (Doris Ann) Wilson, Sandersville, Georgia; two sisters: Ms. Betty Sanders, Pomona, Georgia, Ms. Gladys Price, Brooklyn, New York; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
