Mr. Hubert "Buddy" Johnson

Mr. Hubert Johnson passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at University Hospital. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Camp Spring Baptist Church, Sandersville, Georgia with Pastor Darrell Mitchell officiating. Interment was held in church cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was born on April 2, 1954 in Washington County, Georgia to the parentage of Mrs. Hattie Pearl Johnson and the late Mr. Alex Johnson, Sr.

He was a 1973 graduate of Washington County High School. Some time after graduating he moved to Atlanta, GA where he was employed with the City of Decatur and UPS.

Buddy was a loving person and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and watching sports on television.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Ms. Mary Helen Tarver, Ms. Rosie Mae Johnson and one brother: Mr. Alex Johnson, Jr.

Mr. Johnson is survived by a son: Mr. Demarcus Donte Johnson, Sr., Atlanta, Georgia; grandson: Mr. Demarcus Donte Johnson, Jr., Atlanta, Georgia; mother: Mrs. Hattie Pearl Johnson, Davisboro, Georgia; four sisters: Ms. Christine Farmer, Wrens, Georgia, Ms. Pearline Johnson, Davisboro, Georgia, Ms. Catherine Johnson, Harrison, Georgia, Ms. Minnie Davis, Atlanta, Georgia; one brother: Mr. Torace Johnson, Davisboro, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
