Mr. Edward Tarver Averett, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Memorial services were held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at Sandersville United Methodist Church, Sandersville, Georgia.

Mr. Averett is survived by his wife: Mrs. Joan Harrell Averett; three children: Mrs. Laura (Kevin) Averett-Morris, Mr. Edward Tarver (Tori) Averett, III, Ms. MaeLee Corinna Averett; three grandchildren: Mr. Charles Edward Morris, Mr. Ethan Scott Morris, Mr. Ellis Tarver Averett; sister: Mrs. Mary Grace (Billy) Kay; a host of other relatives and friends.
