Mr. John E. Smith, affectionately known as "Frank", passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 in Warthen, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 at Second Mineral Springs with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Smith is survived by his daughter: Ms. Emily Robinson (David James), Warthen, Georgia. Two granddaughters: Ms. Keyana Brookins, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Princetta Smith, Raleigh, North Carolina. Two grandsons: Mr. Ke’Moni Smith, Mr. Zacharie Robinson, Warthen, Georgia.
