Mrs. Myrtice Jones

Mrs. Myrtice Jones, Warthen, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Second Mineral Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born on September 22, 1934 to the parentage of the late Mr. Tommie Neal and the late Mrs. Lula Mae Neal.

Myrtice was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Louis B. Jones. This union was blessed with five children.

She was a homemaker who loved beautiful flowers and watching wrestling and western movies. Mrs. Mert was a member of Second Mineral Springs Missionary Baptist Church where she attended faithfully until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Mr. Bobby Jones, Mr. Ben Jones; two brothers: Mr. Mr. Oliver Neal, Mr. Bennie Neal; and two grandchildren: Mr. Bobby Jerome Jones and Mr. Darrell Brookins.

Mrs. Jones is survived by one daughter: Mrs. Bobbie (Nathan) Chatman, Warthen, Georgia; two sons: Mr. Tommie Jones, Warthen, Georgia, Mr. Edward Jones, Sparta, Georgia; one sister: Mrs. Inell (Jessie) Tucker, Sanford, North Carolina; one brother: Mr. David Neal, Sanford, North Carolina; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
