Mr. Theodis Little, Sr.

Mr. Theodis Little, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Greater Faith Community Church with Pastor Curtiss Cordy Sr., officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Deacon Theodis Little, Sr., was born on April 22, 1939 in Jefferson County, Wadley, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Jerry Little and the late Mrs. Mary Lou Thomas Little.

Deacon Little received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1967 under the leadership of the late Apostle Charles F. Johnson of Mount Vernon, New York. He served as a faithful deacon of the Community Church of Jesus No 2, later named Greater Faith Community Church, until his death.

Theodis worked as a construction worker and a cement finisher. He worked several years for Georgia Department of Transportation and then for the City of Sandersville until his retirement April 30, 2003.

On December 29, 1959, Theodis united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Beulah Cordy Little. This union was blessed with five children. Theodis was a family man whom loved his wife, children and especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Little is survived by his wife Mrs. Beulah Mae Little; two daughters: Mrs. Shirley (Calvin) Robinson, Mrs. Julia (George) Gunder; three sons: Mr. Curtiss (Dianne) Cordy Sr., Mr. Theodis (Lillie) Little Jr., Mr. Matthew (Barbara) Little; five sisters-in-law: Ms. Bobbie Jean Taylor, Ms. Pearlie Little, Ms. Kathleen White, Ms. Betty Gilmore, Mrs. Willie Pearl (Theodore) Taylor; two brothers-in-law: Mr. Ralph (Gwen) Cordy, Mr. Billy (Betty Jean) Cordy; Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, several other relatives and friends.
