Ms. Jhanasia Tukes

Ms. Jhanasia Onkerria Tukes, affectionately known as “Worm,” departed this life on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Jefferson County Hospital. Graveside services were held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Magnolia Baptist Church in Avery, Georgia with Elder Jessie Mountain officiating.

She was born on July 17, 1995 to the parentage of Mrs. Kather P. Poberson and Mr. Randall Peeler.

Ms. Tukes attended school in Jefferson County, Georgia. She was employed by Sitel Communication.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Ms. Laquitta Davis; grandfathers: Mr. Charlie L. Poole, Mr. Vernon Peeler; grandmothers: Ms. Katherine Tukes, Ms. Viline Williams, Ms. Irene Minor, Ms. Essie Peeler, Mrs. Betty Richardson.
