Mrs. Johanna H. Maxwell

Mrs. Johanna H. Maxwell, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at AU Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.

Funeral services were held privately by the family.

She was born on July 16, 1956 to the parentage of the late Mr. Willie Russell and the late Ms. Elouise Hagans.

Mrs. Maxwell attended the public schools of Washington County.

In her spare time she enjoyed reading, dancing, being creative with flowers and upholstery and spending time with her family and friends. She was a supervisor at Jet food Stores in Wrightsville, Georgia for many years.

Mrs. Maxwell leaves cherished memories to her children: Ms. Tracy Hagans, Mr. Christopher (Lakisha) Johnson, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Shedrick (Octavia) Snell, Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Surrender Swint, Tennille, Georgia; sisters: Ms. Dorothy Meridy, Ms. Judy Hindsman, Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Vicky Roach, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Lavearne Jones, Dublin, Georgia, Ms. Betty King, Ms. Levearn   Johnson, Wrightsville, Georgia; brothers: Mr. Ronnie Hagans, St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. Calvary Gregory, Dublin, Georgia, Mr. Stevie (Ruby) Johnson, Wrightsville, Georgia, Mr. Ellis Mason, Bartow, Georgia; special friend: Mr. Charles Thomas; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
