Mrs. Helen White


Mrs. Helen White, departed this life on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Levi White officiating.


Mrs. White was born on August 7, 1962 in Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Polie James and the late Mrs. Lillian Jordan James.

She was preceded in death by her son: Master Demetrius James; grandparents: Mr. Lonnie and Mrs. Josephine Dixon, Mrs. Eva Gladden, Mrs. Essie Tolbert, Mr. Albert James and Mrs. Laura Brookins.


At an early age she accepted Christ and joined Camp Spring Baptist Church. She was a high school graduate with the class of 1980 and worked as a laborer in the field.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.


Mrs. White leaves cherished memories to her devoted husband: Mr. Richard White, Wrightsville, Georgia; one stepdaughter: Ms. Katina White, Tennille, Georgia; two grandchildren: Master Treveon Jeannette, Master Tristian Jeannette, Tennille, Georgia; one brother: Mr. Lonnie James, Tampa, Florida; mother-in-law: Mrs. Mae Bell Dixon, Davisboro, Georgia; nine sisters-in-law: Ms. Lucille Oatman, Warrenton, Georgia, Ms. Mary Julia Warthen, Thomson, Georgia, Ms. Betty White, Ms. Mabel Brown, Ms. Louise Swint, Davisboro, Georgia, Ms. Jessie Jordan, Ms. Jesse Rene Jordan, Harrison, Georgia, Ms. Luvenia Johnson, Hinesville, Georgia, Ms. Pearlie White, Grovetown, Georgia; four brothers-in-law: Rev. Levi (Bernestine) White, III, Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Napolean Warthen, Jr., Harrison, Georgia, Mr. Dean Salter, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Sylvester Neal, Macon, Georgia; three devoted friends: Mrs. Emma Yorker, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Sherry Butler, Milledgeville, Georgia, Ms. Ruby Havior, Sparta, Georgia; a host of nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
