Mrs. Essie B. Taylor

Mrs. Essie B. Taylor, Sandersville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Heritage Inn Nursing Home, Sandersville, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Thursday, January, 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery with Bro. Corey Graham officiating.

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed. Proverbs 31: 10,11, 27, 28

Our beloved mother, Mrs. Essie B. Taylor, departed this life and went to her eternal rest on Saturday, January 2, 2021.

She was born on January 13, 1943.

Our mom loved being a mom and a wife. She had a unique talent for cooking and serving others meals. She took pride in her delicious cakes. If they did not look right, she would start over. She loved to see people eat and enjoy her cooking. She also had a sense of humor and we loved to laugh with her. She was a hard worker, determined to make it on her own. She cared for others and loved her church. She went on vacations with her daughters, joked with her sons and loved talking with her great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Clinton Taylor, Sr., mother: Mrs. Martha Frazier Davis; stepfather: Mr. Tobie Davis, Sr.; grandson: Mr. Ardavius Foster; and brother: Mr. Tobie Davis, Jr.

We love and miss her dearly, but we pray that she is at peace and resting in the arms of her creator, our Almighty and Great Father in Heaven.

Mrs. Taylor leaves to mourn and cherish her memories, five children: Mrs. Brenda (Andy) Love, Hilton Head, South Carolina, Mr. Kennie (Sandy) Taylor, Mr. Clinton Taylor, Jr, Mr. Christopher (Shonte) Taylor, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Patricia L.
