Mrs. Effie Poole

Mrs. Effie Poole, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Camp Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Mitchell officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

She was born on March 28, 1944 to the parentage of the late Mr. Robert Reynolds and Mrs. Thelma Brown Reynolds.

At an early age she joined Camp Spring Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health failed.

Mrs. Poole was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Johnnie Poole, Sr. This union was blessed with seven (7) children.

For fourteen (14) years she was employed at Heritage Inn Nursing Home in Sandersville, Georgia until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Mr. Robert Louis Reynolds, Mr. John Willie Reynolds, Mr. Cecil Reynolds, Mr. Lester Reynolds; two sisters: Ms. Carrie Warthen, Ms. Essie Lovett; and two great grandchildren: A’keyvia Walker and Knowledge Poole.

Mrs. Poole leaves cherished memories to her two sons: Mr. Johnnie (Rosemary) Poole, Jr., Mr. Tommie (Wyves) Poole, Sr., Sandersville, Georgia; five daughters: Ms. Katie Kitchens, Mrs. Mary (Ronnie) May, Ms. Sharon Washington, Ms. Fonda Poole, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. LouAnn (Johnny) Salter, Covington, Georgia; four sisters: Mrs. Barbara (Ernest) Brown, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Grace Reynolds, Ms. Jeanette Reynolds, Ms. Annette Reynolds, Riddleville, Georgia; three brothers: Mr. Eddie (Joyce) Reynolds, Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Walter (Brenda) Reynolds, Bartow, Georgia, Mr. Willie Frank Reynolds, Davisboro, Georgia; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Doris Poole, Mrs. Lorene Reynolds, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Alice Martin, Soperton, Georgia; two devoted friends: Ms. Joyce Salter, Ms. Vera Jackson; twenty-four (24) grandchildren; thirty-five (35) great grandchildren; three (3) great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
