Mr. Kelvin B. Prosser

Mr. Kelvin B. Prosser, affectionately known as "Choo", Tennille, Georgia passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Saint James Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Mack Jackson, officiating.

Mr. Kelvin Bernard Prosser, affectionately known as “Choo,” was born on July 18, 1962 to Ms. Betty Prosser Harris.

Mr. Prosser was a graduate of Washington County High School Class of 1980 where he was an avid football star.

At an early age, Kelvin was baptized at Bold Spring Baptist Church.

He worked at Engelhard Chalk Plant for fifteen (15) years. After working several other jobs, he began driving trucks. His real passion was cars, trucks, bikes and rims. Kelvin was also an entrepreneur. He was the owner of Prestige Mobile Car Wash and Detailing; where his motto was “Nothing rides better than a clean vehicle.” Every car he owned and sold was sparkling clean.

Choo had an amazing personality; the fun did not start until he arrived. If you were in his presence, it would not take long to buy into whatever he was selling because his gift for gab would have you immersed in the pure joy of laughter or emptying your pockets for whatever he was selling. He was a phenomenal dresser, always had a crease in his pants and his cologne left a lingering smell in the room, letting you know that he had been there.

Kelvin’s presence made a difference, and his final departure did too. His life ended on Friday, March 19, 2021 when God called him home.

His memories will be cherished by his four children: Mr. Ahmad Rashad (Carmen) Prosser, San Antonio , TX, Mrs. Ashley (Lorenzo) Prosser-Brown, McDonough, GA, Mr. Vaneilus (Estachia) Marquez Prosser, Augusta, GA, Mr. Brandon Deanard Prosser, Atlanta, GA; mother: Ms. Betty Prosser Harris, Tennille, GA; grandmother: Mrs. Lelia Mae Norris, Tennille, GA; stepfather: Mr. B.
