Mr. Donnie Willliams

On Saturday, June 12, 2021, the angels in heaven stood waiting at the bedside of our beloved brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend as he transitioned peacefully into eternal rest at the Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia.

Graveside services were held on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Bold Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Henry L. Tanner officiating. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Donnie Williams, was born January 23, 1962 in Washington County, GA. to the parentage of the late Mr. Emanuel Williams, Sr. and the late Mrs. Vilene Poole Williams. Donnie was the fourth youngest son of all his siblings. At a very early age, he accepted Christ into his life when he joined the Bold Spring Baptist Church.

He attended the public schools of Washington County and graduated with the Class of 1980.

Donnie was employed with the Citgo Quik Mart for more than 20 years, until his health began to decline. He was one to always lend a helping whenever needed and enjoyed making one laugh with something he would say or do. Donnie had a huge personality and loved people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Emanuel Williams, Sr. and Mrs. Vilene Poole Williams; four brothers: Mr. Charlie Poole, Emanuel Williams, Jr., Mr. Clayton Williams, Sr., his twin brother, Mr. Ronnie Williams, and God-brother, Mr. Steven Jackson.

Undoubtedly, Donnie has joined the heavenly cloud of witnesses along with his parents, his brothers and grandparents. However, the memories he leaves behind will forever be cherished by his sisters, Mrs. Patricia (Jimmie) Johnson of Lithonia, GA; Ms. Debra (Leroy) Williams of Conyers, GA., and Ms. Yvette Reese, of Tucker, GA. Three brothers: Mr. Bobby Lee (Dianne) Williams, Mr. Eric Williams and Mr. Jason Williams of Sandersville, GA. One Aunt: Ms. Mary Alice Martin, Soperton, GA. Two Uncles: Mr. Lee Arthur (Ruby) Williams and Mr. Clarence Williams of Sandersville, GA. Sister-in-Law: Mrs. JoAnn Poole of Sandersville, GA. Several devoted nieces and nephews, other loved ones and friends, including a devoted friend: Mr. Thomas Parker of Sandersville, GA. M. C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
