Elder Shawnreno Ricks

A Celebration of Life for Elder Shawnreno Ricks will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 10 AM at the Resurrection Power Church of God in Gahanna, Ohio. The service will be streamed live from Kingdom Advancement Ministries at 806 Jordan Road in Sandersville Georgia.

Shawnreno Ricks was born on September 14, 1967 in Soperton, Georgia. He was born/preceded in life by Allen Ricks (father), First Lady Fronetta (Davis) Phillips (mother), Elder James Curtis Phillips (father). After serving his Lord and Savior and upon the fulfillment of his appointed days on earth, the Lord dispatched his angels to escort Elder Shawnreno Ricks to his eternal home on September 3, 2022. He will always be remembered by his famous war crys: GLORRRRRRRRRY and HALLELUUUUUUJAH!!! Left to cherish his memories are a loving and devoted wife Rachel Ricks; daughters: Chelsea Ricks of Jacksonville, FL, Zoie Price and Emma Ricks of Columbus Ohio; sons: Shawn Ricks Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and Samuel Ricks of Boca FL; granddaughter: La’Nore Olojugba; siblings: Fred Stokes ( Regina), Mark Phillips, Angenita Smith ( late Eugene), Bishop Kendall E. Phillips (Farrah), Pam Wright, Rachel Ricks, Delbert Phillips ( Amber), Kim Ricks, Francene Phillips, James Cutreal Phillips ( Jennifer), Timothy Phillips; and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
