Mr. Willie Smith

Mr. Willie Smith, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodlawn City Cemetery with Apostle Judea McClin officiating.

Mr. Smith was born to the parentage of the late Ms. Mary Hammit and the late Mr. Steve Smith in Sandersville, Georgia on February 9, 1948.

In his early years, he was a pulpwood laborer by trade. He was a faithful member of St. Galilee Baptist Church until his health failed.

Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers: Mr. Melvin Smith, Mr. Grady Smith, Tennille, Georgia; devoted niece: Mrs. Detta (Willie) Renfroe, Tennille, Georgia; devoted nephew: Mr. Bobby Marion; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
