Mrs. Annie Pearl Cuyler


Mrs. Annie Pearl Cuyler, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Robin Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Lester Woods officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

She was born on November 10, 1940 to the parentage of the late Mr. Herbert Swint and the late Mrs. Louise Green Swint.

Mrs. Cuyler attended T.J. Elder School until she started a family of her own.

She was a loving mother of seven kids.

You would never leave her house with an empty stomach and without having a good laugh. She loved to cook for her family and friends.

Mrs. Cuyler worked in the local deli many years until her health began to fail. Even though she could no longer work, her love for cooking continued. She would still cook everyday and on second and fourth Sunday’s, she would cook big meals for her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two youngest children: Ms. Jacqueline Cuyler and Mr. Darrell Swint.

Mrs. Cuyler leaves to cherish her memories, her life partner: Mr. James Armstrong of Sandersville, Georgia; five children: Ms. Helen Stanley of Macon, Georgia, Ms. Dianne Cuyler of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mr. Calvin (Julie) Cuyler of Lizella, Georgia; Mrs. Linda (William) Cuyler-Slaughter of Kathleen, Georgia, Mr. David Cuyler (Jarquetta Reid) of Macon, Georgia; adoptive son: Mr. Marshall Wilson of Tennille, Georgia; siblings: Ms. Lillie Pearl Spikes, Ms. Shirley Ann Johnson, Ms. Cynthis Dixon, Ms. Mary Burke, Mr. Henry (Agnes) Watts, Mr. Clarence (Elizabeth) Watts, Mr. Oscar Dixon, Mr. Tommie Lee (Brenda) Dixon, Mr. Benny Swint all of Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Larry (Mae) London of Atlanta, Georgia; devoted granddaughters/caregivers: Ms. Vanessa Cuyler-Scott, Ms. Erykah Fuller of Sandersville, Georgia; devoted friends: Mrs. Kathy Blocker, Ms. Delois Brown; twenty two (22) grandchildren; forty five (45) great grandchildren; one (1) great great grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends.
