Mr. Eric Haynes Sr.


Mr. Eric Haynes Sr., passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Wrightsville, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Neeler AME Church, Davisboro, Georgia with Rev. Dr. Wilhelmina Jordan officiating. Interment was held in church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 12 noon until the hour of the service.

Mr. Eric Haynes, Sr., affectionately known as “L”, found eternal peace at his residence on Thursday, May 24, 2018.

Mr. Haynes was born on July 26, 1965 to the parentage of the late Ms. Lula Mae Haynes and the late Mr. Albert Brinson.

At an early age he received Christ and attended Neeler A.M.E. Church in Davisboro, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by seven sisters: Mrs. Cora Lee Page, Ms. Brenda Lee Haynes, Mrs. Alma Jean Palmer, Mrs. Ossie Brinson, Mrs. Bessie Stewart, Mrs. Annette Lockhart, Mrs. Gussie Lee Palmer; and four brothers: Mr. Joseph Haynes, Mr. Charlie Lee Haynes, Mr. Willie B. Brinson, Mr. Joe Albert Brinson.

Mr. Haynes leaves to cherish his memories three daughters: Ms. Kollette Haynes, Nunez, Georgia, Ms. Monashia Haynes, Portsmouth, Virginia, Ms. Michaela Sanders, Sandersville, Georgia; one son: Mr. Eric Haynes, Jr., Dublin, Georgia; stepdaughter: Mrs. Katrina Pollard, Atlanta, Georgia; five sisters: Mrs. Barbara (Arthur) Hayles, Lithonia, Georgia, Mrs. Rochelle Fort, Ms. Patricia, Haynes, Ms. Deborah Braddy, Davisboro, Georgia, Mrs. Linda Jean (George) Hollis, Dublin, Georgia; eight brothers: Mr. Jerome (Pamela) Haynes, Mr. Darryl (Maurice) Braddy, Mr. Frank Haynes, Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. J.T. Haynes, Mr. Anthony Haynes, Lithonia, Georgia, Mr. Mark (Jannie) Haynes, Davisboro, Georgia, Mr. Bennie Haynes, Tennille, Georgia, Mr. Zebbie Brinson, Jacksonville, Florida; eleven grandchildren: Brooklyn Haynes, Kolldon Thomas, Kovee Thomas, Kayvis Thomas, Nunez, Georgia, Lyla Zadae Haynes, Kerrick Mark Haynes, Dublin, Georgia, Maria Scott, Madelyn Scott, Portsmouth, Virginia, Zoey Sanders, Kacey Daniel, Ja’von Morris, Sandersville, Georgia; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Mary B.
