Ms. Taylor Hines

Ms. Taylor Hines, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. on the lawn of Samuel Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Adams officiating.

A Time To Be Born: On Sunday, June 27, 1993 at 7:07 PM, at Fairview Park Hospital, a beautiful and healthy baby girl named Taylor Ty’Shauna Lakeyondra Hines was born to the parentage of Ms. Erica Hines and Mr. Cecil Williams.

A Time To Live: Taylor was the epitome of a true phenomenal woman. She was a very intelligent, selfless, purpose driven, determined, independent and successful young lady. She was loved by many and adored by all whom she came in contact with. Taylor’s demeanor was that of grace, confidence, strength and compassion. She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Taylor loved to sing, dance, clown around and play spades while enjoying the company of many friends and family.

She made a career of being a Registered Nurse, where she got the opportunity to live by her code: “Service to others before self.” Taylor was proud of accomplishing her goals of becoming one of the youngest Assistant Nurse Managers on the floor that she worked at University Hospital, buying a home and obtaining her Master’s Degree in June of 2021. Taylor would often brag about being the first and only girl grandchild of her maternal grandparents for over twenty seven (27) years.

She was a member of Samuel Grove Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir and developed a relationship with our Lord and Savior.

A Time To Die: On Monday, August 23, 2021, our Father and Savior saw Taylor getting tired and decided that it was time for his child to come home. He sent His Angel in the ICU unit of Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, bed 6 to get His weary child. Taylor heard her savior say “I see that you are tired come on home and I will give you rest, for you have fought a good fight, you have finished your course, and you have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
