Ms. Stella Hall


Ms. Stella Hall, affectionately known as "Tina" departed this life on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Warthen, Georgia with Rev. Henry L. Tanner, officiating. Rev. Corian Roberson, Pastor


She was born on April 20, 1948 in Warthen, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. James Clarence Allen and the late Ms. Lucille Hall.

Ms. Hall attended the public schools of Washington County. At an early age she joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Tina worked for over thirty years in the nursing/healthcare field. She retired from Washington County Regional Medical Center in 2011. After her retirement, she did several sitting jobs and worked in the nursery at First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one sister: Ms. Robyn Allen, one brother: Mr. Larry Hall and one grandchild: Ms. Shantekia Kitchens.

Ms. Hall leaves to cherish her memories, three children: Mr. Marvin Hall (Diane), Warthen, Georgia, Ms. Marcie Hall, Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Cessala (Jerry) Coleman, Tennille, Georgia; brothers: Mr. Eddie Hall, Warthen, Georgia, Mr. Sammie Hall, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. James “Butch” Allen, Roanoke, Virginia, Mr. Ronald Craig Allen, Mr. Paul “Teddy” Allen, St. Petersburg, Florida, Mr. Johnny Johnson, Fayetteville, North Carolina; sister: Mrs. Debby (Fabian) Amanze, Marietta, Georgia; nine grandchildren: Ms. Traneshia Kitchens, Mr. Dentravious Kitchens, Ms. Jalecia Kitchens, Ms. Shanzekia Kitchens, Ms. Shonterria Kitchens, Mr. Malcolm Harris, Ms. Tiffani Little, Mr. Thaddeus Gladdin, Mr. Tamyron Smith; four devoted great grandchildren: Mr. Richard King, Jr., Mr. Maurice Flournoy, Jr., Mr. Greg Rowdy, Mr. Noah Brinson; devoted niece she reared as her own: Ms. Natasha Griffin; aunts: Ms. Eunice Ivey, Ms. Lena Hall, Ms. Laura Middlebrooks, Ms. Mary Griffin; sister-in-law: Ms. Cecilie Hall; devoted friends: Miles, Hall, Allen families; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
