Ms. Myrtle Lou Miller

Ms. Myrtle Lou Miller was called home on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Fairview Park Hospital, Dublin, Georgia.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at New Birth Christian Ministries with Senior Pastor Patrick Wilson officiating. Interment was held in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

She was born on February 5, 1945 to the parentage of the late Mr. James Willie Miller and Mrs. Catherine Wilcox Miller in Washington County, Georgia.

Ms. Miller worked at Dye’s Bar-b-que for fifteen (15) years. She enjoyed praising God, playing spades and spending time with her family and friends.

She attended New Birth Christian Ministries until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

Ms. Miller leaves cherished memories to her three daughters: Ms. Gwendolyn Miller, Mrs. Juanita (Joseph) Purvey, Ms. Cermoria Miller, Tennille, Georgia; one son: Mr. Anthony Norris, Tennille, Georgia; one sister: Ms. Mary Miller, Tennille, Georgia, ten grandchildren: Jakel Purvey, Shoroski Swint, Shaknequa Pleas, Reginald Swint, Jamarie Brown, JaQuita Purvey, Bradrikus Jenkins, Keith Swint, Jalisa Purvey, Denvoris Miller; one sister-in-law: Mrs. Eloise Miller, Louisville, Georgia; bonus daughters: Ms. Kimberly Cummings, Ms. Brittnay Brantley, Mrs. Kimberly Richardson; devoted friends: Ms. Alisa Green, Ms. Kiera Roberson, Mr. Keith Mills, Ms. Cheryl Mills; eight great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
