Mrs. Doris Cuby

Mrs. Doris Cuby, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at her residence in Tallahassee, Florida. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at New Light Christian Fellowship Church. Interment was held at Watson Cemetery.

Mrs. Doris Cuby, the daughter of the late Johnnie C. Jackson and Rosa M. Jackson, was born on August 28, 1936 in Bartow, Ga.

She peacefully entered into rest on Monday May 24, 2021.

Doris Cuby was educated in Jefferson Country School System. She was united into holy matrimony to Bobby Cuby. One daughter, Louise J. Henderson, was born unto this union.

Doris was a loving and devoted mother, sister and friend. She received the Holy Ghost under the leadership of the late Apostle Charles F. Johnson from Mount Vernon, New York. She was a faithful member with Elder Jimmy Little. She attended Greater Miracle Temple under the leadership of Bishop Jacob B. Henderson Sr. of Tallahassee, FL until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie C. Jackson and Rosa Watson Jackson; two brothers Johnnie C. Jackson and Ralph Jackson, and sister Carrie Bell Warthen.

She leaves to cherish her memories, devoted family, her daughter: Louise Jackson Henderson and husband Bishop Jacob B. Henderson Sr., grandson: Jacob B. Henderson Jr.; two great grand daughters: Jaleya B. and Janelle B. Henderson. two sisters: Bertha M. Jones, of Sandersville, Ga. Betty Cordy and husband Otis Cordy of Harrison, Ga. and Brother Bobby Jackson of Sandersville, Ga. and one aunt: Emma Hall, of Mount Vernon, New York., nieces, nephews, cousins, goddaughters, other family and friends.
