Mrs. Christine Landers Jordan

Mrs. Christine Landers Jordan passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Graveside services were held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Camp Spring Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jordan was born on January 16, 1935 in Sandersville, GA to the parentage of the late Mr. Willie Landers and the late Mrs. Ella Mae Landers.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Camp Spring Baptist Church. She attended Sandersville Technical College and received her GED; one of her proudest moments. She retired after forty six (46) of being a caretaker for Mrs. Annie Jones and family.

In 1951 she was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Valine Jordan. Her favorite things to do were reading the bible, going to church, cooking her dinners, baking cakes and talking to everyone she came in contact with in the grocery store.

Mrs. Jordan leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter: Ms. Ella Pearl Hilson, Sandersville, GA; four sons: Mr. Sammie Lee Jordan, Mr. Clifford “Chip” Jordan, Sandersville, GA; Mr. Ricky (Kristen) Jordan, Waldorf, Maryland, Mr. Charlie Brown, Augusta, GA; one sister: Mrs. Lena Martin, Sandersville, GA; two devoted granddaughters: Ms. Tracey Jordan, Ms. Karlecia Williams, Sandersville, GA; one sister-in-law: Mrs. Cora Mae Jordan, Sandersville, GA; devoted god-son: Mr. Walter Jordan, Sandersville, GA; devoted friends: Mrs. Annie Jones, Mrs. Joyce Dixon, Riddleville, GA devoted god-children: Sheriff Joel Cochran, Ms. Nakesha Poole, Mr. Greg Jordan; riding partner: Mr. Eugen Thomas; fourteen (14) grandchildren; twenty two (22) great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
