Mr. Willie Vining

Mr. Willie Vining, affectionately known as "WC" passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Mark AME Church in Wadley, Georgia. Interment was held in Jones Chapel Cemetery.

WC was educated in the Jefferson County School System. He worked a variety of jobs ranging from Thermo King in Louisville, Georgia to the main nursing home in Wadley, Georgia. He also had a natural talent when it came to fixing cars and would often share his skill with his friends and family who were in need. An impression was left on everyone he met.

He was no stranger to the Lord as he was raised in the church by his late grandfather, who was a minister and his late grandmother, Rev. Robert and Mrs. Maggie Vining. He was a faithful member of St. Mark A.M.E. Church in Wadley, Georgia until he moved to Sandersville, Georgia. While living in Sandersville, he would attend St. Galilee Baptist Church.

WC transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest on Monday, August 29, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over twenty-five (25) years: Mrs. Predetha Odessa Reeves Vining and a cousin: Mrs. Bertha Vining Johnson.

Mr. Vining leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter: Mrs. Catherine Dickerson; sons: Mr. Keith Reeves, Mr. Robert Reeves, Mr. Anthony Reeves; brother: Mr. Ernest Vining; sisters: Mrs. Deborah Frazier-Gibson, Ms. Thonia Frazier; aunts: Ms. Annie Vining, Mrs. Mary (Willie) Starling; grandchildren: Mr. Derrick (Stacey) Linder, Ms. Natasha Wright; devoted nephew: Mr. Quizeil Johnson; devoted friends: Ms. Ann Johnson, Mr. Willie Brown; a host of extended loving family and friends.
