Mr. Tony Kennedy

Mr. Tony Kennedy, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at East Lake Arbor, Decatur, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at Abundant Life Miracle Deliverance. Interment was held in Harrison Cemetery.

Mr. Kennedy was born on September 19, 1960 in Washington County, Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Ms. Rose Eva Kennedy and the late Mr. Clifford Fowler.

At an early age, Tony was affiliated with Springfield A.M.E. Church of Harrison, Georgia. He attended Georgia School for the Deaf in Cave Spring, Georgia, where he played football and graduated in 1981.

Mr. Kennedy leaves cherished memories to his wife: Mrs. Angela D. Kennedy, Atlanta, Georgia; daughters: Ms. Rose Kennedy, Mrs. Ashleigh (Jarel) Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia; sons: Mr. Tony Whitfield, Mr. Andre (Jennifer) Bryant, Atlanta, Georgia; two aunts: Mrs. Mary (Joe) Walker, Ms. Lillie Thomas, Harrison, Georgie; two uncles: Rev. Wilbert (Johnnie Mae) Kennedy, Harrison, Georgia, Mr. Arcephus (Mildred) Kennedy, St. Petersburg, Florida; one granddaughter: Ms. Tonijah Smith; one great grandchild: Religh Smith, Dublin, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
