Mr. Thomas Leroy Webb




Mr. Thomas Leroy Webb, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Graveside services were held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Holly Spring Baptist Church with Prophetess Michelle Webb officiating.


He was born on September 6, 1965 to the parentage of the late Mr. Albert Webb and Mrs. Lucille Webb.


Mr. Webb attended the public school system of Washington County and graduated from Washington County High School. He was a member of Holly Spring Baptist Church


Thomas was employed at Lapp Insulator until he moved to Elizabeth, NJ. Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family and made his grandchildren his first priority. He was known for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it.


He was preceded in death by a daughter: Ms. La’Quita Webb; two brothers: Mr. Robert Lee Dixon, Mr. Kenneth Brown and one aunt: Ms. Katie Mae Peacock.


Mr. Webb leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Mrs. Shawna Webb, Elizabeth, NJ; two sons: Mr. Iquis J. Webb, Mr. Thomas (Janasia) Webb; nine sisters: Mrs. Marilyn (Lamont) Tallington, Ms. Linda Wicker, Mrs. Sharon (Bruce) Heggs, Ms. Carolyn Brown. Ms. Michelle Webb, Mrs. Brenda (Allen) Wilcher, Mrs. Tammy (Kelvin) Brown, Ms. Janice Jordan, Ms. Patricia Coleman, Sandersville, GA; four brothers: Mr. David Brown, Mr. Ronnie Grant. Mr. Willard Rowling, Mr. Glenn Brown; Sandersville, GA; seven grandchildren: Makayla Yarmeto, JaSiah Webb, Elizabeth, NJ, Anaya Webb, Valdosta, GA, Thomas S. Webb, Jr., Lanaye Webb, Javen Webb, Janayla Webb; Elizabeth, NJ; mother-in-law: Ms. Eloise Young; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Deborah (Ricky) Daniels, Mrs. Wanda (Elywin) Kleckly, Mrs. LaTasha (Darnell) Hutchins; three brothers-in-law: Mr. Troy (Kia) McCarthy, Mr. Calvin Granger, Mr. Anthony (Paula) Young; four aunts: Mrs. Willie Pearl (Otis) Dixon, Ms. Doris Poole, Ms. Carolyn Gundy, Ms. Ola Mae Gundy; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
