Mr. Steve Gladdin

Mr. Steve Gladdin, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Henry L. Tanner officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

He was born on June 24, 1984 to the parentage of Mr. Johnny Richardson and the late Ms. Annie Lee Gladdin.

Mr. Gladdin was gainfully employed with Linton Land Timber where he specialized in land and timber services. In his spare time he loved to cook, grill, hangout under the tree in Warthen, Georgia and spend time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Mr. Bob Gladdin, Mr. Johnny “Tego” Richardson, Mr. Demetrius Neal and Mr. Charvis Lawrence.

His memories will be cherished by his father: Mr. Johnny Richardson of Warthen, Georgia; daughter: Ms. Lyric Gladdin of Sandersville, Georgia; son: Mr. Matthew Smith of Sandersville, Georgia; sisters: like a mother, Ms. Barbara Robinson, Ms. Crystal Miller of Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Yolanda Richardson of Thomson, Georgia, Ms. Nawanda Hatcher of Dublin, Georgia, Ms. Lashundra (Marion) Hunt, Ms. Sequita Collier of Sparta, Georgia; brothers: Mr. Joey Gladdin, Mr. Christopher Miller, Mr. Undray Harris of Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Karl (Kristen) Jones of Tennessee, Mr. Rick Veasley, Mr. Sherman Lawrence of Warthen, Georgia, Mr. Antonio Richardson of Hammond, Louisiana, Dea. Tavaris Neal of Thomson, Georgia, aunts: Ms. Virginia   Gladdin, Ms. Carolyn Gladdin of Warthen, Georgia, Mrs. Brenda (Charles) Russell of Florida, Ms. Naomi Seals of Sandersville, Georgia; uncles: Mr. Edison (Gloria) Richardson, Mr. William (Mary Ann) Gladdin of Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Arthur Richardson of Florida, Mr. Sammie Gladdin of Warthen, Georgia;   devoted friend: Ms. Latessia Gilbert; a host of closely loved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
