Mr. Hubert "Tit" Wilkey, Jr.

Mr. Hubert Wilkey, Jr., affectionately known as "Tit", passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Chaplinwood Health and Rehabilitation in Milledgeville, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Green Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Hatcher officiating.

He was born on August 22, 1950 to the parentage of the late Mr. Hubert Wilkey, Sr. and the late Mrs. Mae Ola Cross Braddy.

Mr. Wilkey grew up and was educated in the Bibb County Public School System. He was an avid fan of western shows such as Gunsmoke, The Lone Ranger and Bonanza.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mr. William Hooks.

Mr. Wilkey leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted sister: Mrs. Josephine (Elmon) Barkster, Sandersville, Georgia; two nephews: Mr. Michael (Marshelle) Barkster, San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Calvin (Augustine) Barkseter, Lithonia, Georgia; one niece: Ms. Lavern Barkster, Macon, Georgia; devoted cousin: Min. Jerry (Cathy) Battle, Macon, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends. M. C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
