Mr. Horace Battle

Mr. Horace Battle, formerly of Washington County, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Major H. Winfield Funeral in Steelton, Pennsylvania with Pastor Larry Colbert officiating.

Horace was born in Warthen, Washington Co., GA, son of the late Jim Battle and Nora (Stevens) Battle, was a US Army Veteran and retired from the former Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot.

Horace leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, Henrietta M. (Greene) Battle; his son, Ricky Battle of Steelton, PA; his daughters, Louise Buie of Sandersville, GA and Carolyn Fields of Johnstown, PA; his sister, Willie Bell Morris of Sandersville, GA and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
