Mr. Galin Wilcher

Mr. Galin Wilcher, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Elderite Community Center with Rev. Henry L. Tanner officiating. Interment was held in the Sandersville City Cemetery.

Mr. Galin Jarrod Wilcher was born on May 24, 1973, in Augusta, Georgia. He was the son of Mr. Thomas Wilcher and the late Mrs. Doris Ann Wilcher.

He attended the public schools of Washington County, graduating with the class of 1993.

Galin had many talents. He was a bus driver, truck driver and worked as a floor finisher.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Mr. James Miller, Sr. and Mrs. Christine Miller and paternal grandparents: Mr. Tommie Lee Wilcher and Mrs. Jeanette Wilcher.

Mr. Wilcher leaves to cherish his precious memories, his son: Mr. Galin Deonte (Chan) Wilcher; daughter: Ms. J’liyah Wilcher; father: Mr. Thomas (Vivian) Wilcher; one brother: Mr. Jeffery Wilcher; three grandchildren: Gabriel Wilcher, Charming Wilcher, Gabrielle Wilcher; two nephews: Mr. Jefferoni Wilcher, Mr. Jemarrion Wilcher; two aunts: Ms. Kaye Miller, Ms. Janice Miller: three uncles: Mr. Donald (Patricia) Wilcher, Mr. Terry (Betty Ree)  Miller, Mr. Bernard Miller; two great aunts: Mrs. Eloise Sanford, Ms. Gloria Settles; devoted friends: Ms. Brenda Gail Hurst and family; a host of other relatives and friends.
