Mr. Christopher Ingram


Mr. Christopher Ingram, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Word of Life Church with Dr. Michael S. Parker officiating. Interment was held at Marshall Grove Baptist Church cemetery.


Christopher Lashun Ingram, affectionately known as “Chris”, was born on July 10, 1978 in Augusta, Georgia to the parentage of Mrs. Geraldine Ingram and the late Mr. G. T. Ingram.


He joined the Harrison Springs Baptist Church and was a youth choir member for several years. Later he would accept Jesus Christ as his personal savior under the leadership of Rev. Marvin Hightower.


Chris attended the Washington County School System and was a member of the class of 1997.


He was united in holy matrimony to Ms. Miyako Brandia Hood on September 27, 2003, through this union they shared three children.


Chris worked on various jobs throughout his life and had many supervisory positions. His love for his family and people was unconditional. He loves spending time with family, especially his wife and children, traveling, cooking, listening to music, bowling and baseball. He was a football fanatic!


Chris was one in a million. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend. He always wore a smile, he was a caregiver and was quiet, humble, dependable, caring, sharing and devoted. He would always have a word of encouragement.


He was preceded in death by a son: Master Precious Ingram; brother: Mr. Alvin Ingram and a nephew: Mr. Jontavious Ingram.


Mr. Ingram leaves precious memories to his wife: Mrs. Miyako H. Ingram, Sandersville, Georgia; two daughters: Ms. Makayla Ingram, Ms. NyAsia Dudley, Sandersville, Georgia; son: Mr. Myterrious Ingram, Sandersville, Georgia; bonus daughter: Ms. Madison Burke; mother: Mrs. Geraldine Ingram, Tennille, Georgia; one sister: Mrs. Mary (Thomas) Hagans, Tennille, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Willie (Darlene) Ingram, Mr. John (Jacqueline) Ingram, Tennille, Georgia; mother-in-law: Mrs. Annie Hood; father-in-law: Mr. James Hood; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Shandrea (Larry) Reeves, Ms. Tabitha Hood; two brothers-in-law: Mr. Jermaine (Tammy) Andrews, Mr. Rashad Castleberry; devoted niece: Ms. Lekisha Ingram; devoted friends: Mr. Bobby Cannida, Mr. Eric Dixon, Mr. Larry Brooks, Mr. Frank Griner; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
