Mrs. Corine Allen

Mrs. Corine Allen, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at her residence. Graveside services were held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 8:00 A.M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Warthen, Georgia with Rev. Corian Roberson officiating.

Mrs. Allen was born and raised in Washington County, Georgia, on July 28, 1927 to the late Ms. Willie Dawson.

She attended the public school system of Washington County. At an early age she joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until she moved up north to Brooklyn, New York. While in Brooklyn, she was a factory worker until retirement. In 1992, she moved back south to her hometown where she resided until God called her home. She enjoyed spending time with her close family.

Mrs. Allen leaves to cherish her memories, two children: Mr. Zelton Latimore, Harrison, Georgia, Ms. Betty Peters, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; six nieces: Ms. Virginia Swint, Ms. Virginia Bert, Ms. Gloria Short, Ms. Mildred Swint, Ms. Ethel Lean Swint, Ms. Mary Brown; nephews: Mr. Robert Swint, Mr. Julian Brown, Mr. Mannie Rease, Mr. Sam Swint; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
