Mr. Melvin Moore

Mr. Melvin Moore, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Deepstep, Georgia.

He was born on April 22, 1963 in Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage or the late Mr. Lee Arthur Moore, Jr. and Mrs. Florence Moore.

Mr. Moore graduated from Trenton Central High School. After graduating he attended Clark Atlanta University and was a member of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship Inc. He was employed by UPS for over a decade.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Ms. Regina Moore; brother: Mr. Lee Arthur Moore, Jr.; grandparents: Mr. George Wheeler, Mrs. Julia Wheeler, Mrs. Tressie Mae Wissins and Mr. Willie Lee Moore.

Mr. Moore leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters: Ms. Aneesah Smart, Bensalem, PA, Mrs. Kareema (William) Ivery, Fayetteville, NC, Ms. Trilena Walker, Tampa, FL; two sons: Mr. Netobia Tucker, Milledgeville, GA, Mr. Khalil Halle, Pottstown, PA; mother: Mrs. Florence Moore, seven grandchildren: Curtis Murry, Caiden Jones, Bensalem, PA, Madeline Ivery, Fayetteville, NC, Julian Maxwell, Tampa, FL, Keamber Farlar, Netobia Williams, Montavious Williams, Milledgeville, GA; three sisters: Ms. Shenia Moore, Stone Mountain, GA, Ms. Kimberlee Moore, College Park, MD, Ms. Christie Foster, Atlanta, GA; four brothers: Mr. Willie Armstrong, Mr. Shawn Johnson, Atlanta, GA, Mr. Anthony Bouye, Sandersville, GA, Mr. Darwin (Latonia) Johnson, Fayetteville, NC; four aunts: Ms. Delois Peeler, Milledgeville, GA, Ms. Ruby Wheeler, Bristol, PA, Ms. Peggy Moore, Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Diane (Thomas) Blakely, Winston-Salem, NC; two uncles: Mr. John (Valencia) Moore, Norfolk, VA, Mr. Julius Moore, Tennille, GA; nieces: Ayjanah, Keiona, Dakarai; nephews: Eric, Dywan, Khalfini, Malik; great nephew: Amir; a host of other nieces nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
