Mr. Steven Jackson

Mr. Steven Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Sandersville, Georgia with Rev. Darrell Mitchell officiating. Interment was held in the Woodlawn City Cemetery.

Mr. Jackson was born on August 24, 1968 to the parentage of Mrs. Dorothy Miles and the late Mr. Kenneth Jackson.

He was employed at Pizza Hut for eight years and McDonald’s for thirteen years until his health declined.

Steven was a very fun loving person who loved to have fun. Among his favorite ways, was spending time with his family and taking care of his mom.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Mr. Lawson Miles and grandfather: Mr. Archie Lee Martin.

Mr. Jackson leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother: Mrs. Dorothy Miles, Sandersville, Georgia; grandmother: Mrs. Lena Mae Martin, Sandersville, Georgia; god sister: Ms. Erica Hunter, Newnan, Georgia; uncle: Mr. J.C. (Sallie) Martin, Sandersville, Georgia; aunts: Mrs. Emma Martin, Sandersville, Georgia; Mrs. Rena (Gerald) Carter, Harperwood, Michigan; great aunt: Mrs. Christine Jordan, Sandersville, Georgia; devoted cousins: Ms. Tracey Jordan, Ms. Karlecia Williams, Sandersville, Georgia; god daughter: Ms. Dominique Walker, Sandersville, Georgia; special friends: Mrs. Patricia (Jimmie) Johnson, Lithonia, Georgia, Mrs. Deborah William, Conyers, Georgia, Mr. Bobby (Dianne) Williams, Mr. Donnie Williams, Sandersville, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
