Mr. Glenn Hood, Sandersville, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020. Memorial services were held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at M.C. Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Fields officiating.

He was born on November 14, 1944 to the parentage of the late Mr. Albert Hood, Sr. and the late Ms. Emma Taylor.

Mr. Hood attended the public schools of Washington County.

In 2015 he married Mrs. Mattie Neal Hood.

He loved to cook, dance, gardening, making sure his house was a home and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Hood leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife: Mrs. Mattie Neal Hood; nine children: Mrs. Tammy (Samuel) Graham, Plantcity, Florida, Mr. Stanley (Melinda) Graham, Lakeland, Florida, Ms. Sonia L. Hood, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. Alex Hood, Kansas City, Missouri, Mr. Oscar Solomon, College Park, Georgia, Mrs. Carol (Jimmy) Walker, Clarkston, Georgia, Mr. Robert Jones, Dublin, Georgia, Mr. Bobby Marion, Roswell Georgia, Ms. Naomi Marion, Sandersville, Georgia; two sisters: Ms. Nellie Hood, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Abigail (Willie) Wells, Sandersville, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Paul Johnson, Grovetown, Georgia, Mr. Herbert (Carolyn) Hood, Sandersville, Georgia; three sisters-in-law: Ms. Eunice Neal, Ms. Bessie Neal, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Linda Neal, Atlanta, Georgia; one brother-in-law: Mr. Larry Neal, Atlanta, Georgia; twenty one grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
