Mrs. Lucille Duggan

Mrs. Lucille Duggan, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Green Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Johnathan Lewis officiating. Interment was held in church cemetery.

She was born on February 27, 1931 to the parentage of the late Dea. Wilson Jackson and the late Mrs. Ella Bellmon Jackson.

Mrs. Duggan was married to the late Mr. A.B. Duggan, Sr.

At an early age she joined Green Grove Baptist Church where she attended until her health failed. She was educated at Green Grove School and T.J. Elder School where she was Salutorian of her eighth grade class. In the absences of the teacher, she would teach the class.

Mrs. Duggan instilled into her children to finish school, attend church and serve God faithfully.

She was preceded in death by three sons: infant twins and her beloved son, Mr. A.B. Duggan, Jr.; four sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Duggan leaves to cherish her memories, three devoted daughters: Ms. Esther Francis, Mrs. Bobbie (Charles) Williams, Ms. Charlene Duggan, Tennille, GA; three devoted grandsons whom she helped raise: Mr. Melvin (Vi) Brown, Sr., Columbus, OH, Mr. Kelvin (Tammy) Brown, Sandersville, GA, Mr. Keith (Lori) Duggan, Tennille, GA; seven devoted great grandkids: Lakerria Brown, Melvin Brown, Jr., Ayanna Brown, Phillip Brown, McKenzie Brown, Austyn Duggan, Madisyn Duggan; three sisters: Ms. Marylene Hicks, Euclid, OH, Mrs. Thelma (Eddie) Jiles, Sandersville, GA, Mrs. Ruby Finney, Macon, GA; one brother: Mr. Frank Jackson, Cleveland, OH; devoted friends: Mother Mary Paris, Mother Ola Wiggin, Dea. J.C. and Missionary Daisy Maze; two great great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
