Ms. Betty Ann Cato

Ms. Betty Ann Cato, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at New Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Owens, Sr. officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Ms. Cato was born on March 8, 1965 in Washington County, Georgia to the late Ms. Katieree Cato Cannida.

She lived at Craig Center Nursing Home in Milledgeville, Georgia for over forty five (45) years. She was later moved to Oconee Nursing Home and later to Washington County Regional Medical Center Extended Care Facility.

Ms. Cato leaves cherished memories to her devoted sister: Mrs. Joanne (James) Owens, Sandersville, Georgia; one brother: Mr. Larry (Cynthia) Cato, Sandersville, Georgia; five aunts: Ms. Mary L. Cato, Mrs. Roberta Young, Mrs. Shirley Cato, Sandersville, Georgia; Ms. Julia Geter, Decatur, Georgia, Mrs. Lillie M. Cato, Milledgeville, Georgia; one uncle: Mr. Hubert (Mary) Cato, Sandersville, Georgia; two nieces: Ms. Tomeka Owens, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Tiffany Jordan, Milledgeville, Georgia; four nephews: Mr. Denzel Owens, Mr. Tory Rice, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Derrick (Kimberly) Owens, Austell, Georgia, Mr. Dexter (Christalle) Tucker, Houston, Texas; ten great nieces; two great nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
