Mr. Charlie (Charles-Dan) Gladdin

Mr. Charlie (Charles-Dan) Gladdin passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Lindra Fleming officiating. Interment was held in church cemetery.

He was born on April 10, 1938 to the parentage of the late Mr. Nathaniel Gladdin and the late Ms. Lucille Latimore.

Mr. Gladdin enjoyed farming and fishing. For many years he worked for the Snider and Walker families. Charles-Dan was a dedicated, loyal and faithful worker. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Mrs. Luverta Lawrence and Mrs. Helen Holmes.

Mr. Gladdin leaves to cherish his memories one daughter: Ms. Shirley Gladdin, Sparta, Georgia; one son: Mr. Sammie (Stephanie) Gladdin, South Carolina; six sisters: Mrs. Lillie Mae Womble, Warthen, Georgia, Mrs. Mary Francis (Mathis) Walker, Savannah, Georgia, Mrs. Carrie Bell (Edison) Richardson, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Rebecca (Nathan) Reeves, Gainesville, Florida, Ms. Bernice Gladdin, Savannah, Georgia, Mrs. Eloise (Marvin) Dawson, New York, New York; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several other relatives and friends.
