Mrs. Nettie Frazier


Mrs. Nettie Frazier passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Bold Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Henry L. Tanner officiating. Interment was held in Woodlawn Cemetery. There was a public viewing on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 6:30 PM at Highland Park Church located on Evans Street in Sandersville, Georgia.

Mrs. Frazier was born on December 24, 1928 to the parentage of the late Mr. Roger Poole and the late Mrs. Emmie Brookins Poole.

She was employed by Washington Mfg. Co. for fifteen years until her health failed. She was also a caregiver for several years to Mrs. Thomasine Jordan.Mrs. Frazier was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She was always caring, loving and compassionate towards everyone, opening her arms and home to all. She loved to read her Bible. Her advice to everyone was to put God first and everything will be all right. Her favorite song was “I Got A Feeling Everything Is Gonna Be Alright,” and even during her days of pain she would start to sing and seemed to feel better afterwards. She always spoke what was on her mind and what came up came out. That’s what made her so special and the fact that she was always genuine. She will be sadly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Arthur Lee Frazier, Sr.; son: Mr. Eddie Clyde Frazier; seven brothers, two sisters, one whom was her twin Betty.

Mrs. Frazier leaves to cherish her memories five daughters: Mrs. Ruby Dean (Marvin) Wells, Mrs. Faye (Willie) Duckworth, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Linda Sue Fragher, Mrs. Emmie (Henry) Sampson, Harrison, Georgia, Ms. Idella Fragher, Providence Rhode Island; four sons: Mr. Ray (Dianne) Fragher, Tennille, Georgia, Mr. Curtis Frazier, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Arthur Lee Frazier, Jr., Davisboro, Georgia, Mr. Robert (Lawanna) Frazier, Atlanta, Georgia; one sister: Mrs. Mary Alice Martin, Soperton, Georgia; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Doris Poole, Mrs. Effie Poole, Sandersville, Georgia; devoted friend: Mrs. Rosie Dell, Savannah, Georgia; twenty four grandchildren; sixty two great grandchildren; twenty one great great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.This announcement is a courtesy of M.C.
