Mr. Nelvin Thomas

Mr. Nelvin Thomas passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 2:30 P.M. with Rev. Jonathan Lewis officiating. Interment was held in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

He was born on May 6, 1946 to the parentage of the late Mr. Bosie Thomas, Sr. and the late Mrs. Estella Gibbons Thomas.

Mr. Thomas attended the public schools of Washington County. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age and joined Green Grove Baptist Church.

In 1967, he was united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Gloria Davis Thomas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and talking. He was a member of the Do Good Organization of Washington County.

Mr. Thomas leaves cherished memories to his wife: Mrs. Gloria Thomas, Sandersville, Georgia; four children: Mrs. Maggie (Earl) Seagle, South Carolina, Ms. Latosha Hooks, Mr. Quincy (Erica) Thomas, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Jaray (Michelle) Thomas, Lithonia, Georgia; godson: Mr. Auntario Watts Thomas; seven grandchildren: Mr. Karel Lundy, Ms. Tynisha Thomas, Mr. Tyrek Watts, Mr. TeJuan Thomas, Mr. Javier Hooks, Mr. Qun’Travious Thomas, Ms. Alyssa Thomas; one great grandchild: Little Miss London Adore Thomas; four sisters-in-law: Mrs. Angela (Harvey) May, Ms. Sheley Thomas, Ms. Hattie Davis, Ms. Eizabeth Thomas; brother-in-law: Mr. Bishop Davis; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
