Mr. James Allan Taylor

Mr. James Allan Taylor, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Harrison Springs Baptist Church, Harrison, Georgia with Rev. Robert Owens officiating. Interment was held in Harrison Cemetery.

Mr. James Allan Taylor was born on February 19, 1964 in Harrison, GA to the late Mr. Calvin Taylor and the late Mrs. Mary Lee Taylor.

He found everlasting peace at Augusta University Hospital on Monday, December 10, 2018.

Mr. Taylor joined Springfield A.M.E. Church, Harrison, GA at an early age. He attended the public school system of Washington County. In his previous years, he was a very hard worker on various jobs.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Mr. Rodney Leon Taylor, Mr. Lee Calvin Taylor, Ms. Shirley King, Ms. Mary Helen Darrisaw and Mr. Sammie Barlow.

Mr. Taylor is survived by one sister: Mrs. Jennifer (Ray) Lee, Sandersville, Georgia; four brothers: Mr. Solomon (Chris) Barlow, Decatur, Georgia, Mr. Thomas (Henrietta) Mearidy, Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Graylin (Vickie) Taylor, Hampton, Georgia; devoted cousin: Mrs. Louise (Albert) Travet, Harrison, Georgia; devoted niece: Ms. Aleshia (Wayne Coleman) Darrisaw, Tennille, Georgia. Several other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
