Mr. Willie "Kooky" Hall

Mr. Willie Hall, affectionately known as "Kooky", passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Green Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Donald Jordan officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

He was born on January 15, 1961 to the parentage of the late Mrs. Lula Bell Jordan Hall and the late Mr. Thomas Adam “T.A.” Hall.

Mr. Hall joined Green Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He was a 1979 graduate of Washington County High School. Kooky worked for many years at Otasco Parts and Cook Ice Company. He was employed by Imery’s/Kentucky-Tennessee Clays, Deepstep, Georgia until his death.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Mr. James T. Hall.

Mr. Hall is survived by his children: Ms. Shaunquita Hall, Warthen, Georgia, Mr. Quincey Hall, Orlando, Florida, Mr. Grimyko Simon, Atlanta, Georgia; six sisters: Mrs. Charlene H. Brown, Mrs. Gail H. Thomas, Ms. Trois C. Hall, Mrs. Dianne (Curtiss) Cordy, Mrs. Glenda Freeman, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Brenda (Lenward) Jackson, Warthen, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Carroll (Joyce) Hall, Columbia, South Carolina, Mr. Hardwick O. Hall, Birmingham, Alabama; two grandchildren: Zariah Riley, Shiphrah Riley, Warthen, Georgia; two aunts: Ms. Tressie Lee Dudley, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Bernice Jordan, Cleveland, Ohio; uncle: Mr. Ernest (Frances) Jordan, Cleveland, Ohio; sister-in-law: Mrs. Kellie Mae J. Hall, Warthen, Georgia. Several other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
