Mrs. Willie P. Taylor

Mrs. Willie P. Taylor, Harrison, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home in Wrightsville, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Greater Faith Community Church with Elder Curtiss Cordy officiating.

Mrs. Taylor was born on December 5, 1933 in Washington County, Georgia to the parentage of the later Mr. Willie and Mrs. Pearl Cordy.

In 1961, Mother Taylor met and married the love of her life, Mr. Theodore “Manson” Taylor.

She was a faithful member of Greater Faith Community Church where she served as an usher, until her health failed. Her hobbies included growing flowers and catching fish when she wasn’t in the kitchen making those mouth-watering biscuits.

She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband: Mr. Theodore Taylor, Riddleville, Georgia: daughter: Ms. Lena Reynolds, Wrightsville, Georgia; son: Mr. William Hooks, Jr., Statesville, North Carolina; five sisters: Ms. Bobbie Jean Taylor, Riddleville, Georgia, Ms. Beluah Little, Ms. Kathleen White, Davisboro, Georgia, Ms. Pearlie Little, Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Ozzie Gilmore, Wrightsville, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Ralph Cordy, Mr. Otis Cordy, Harrison, Georgia; nine grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
