Mr. Addison "Man" Outlaw


Mr. Addison Outlaw, affectionately known as "Man", passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at New Tennille A.M.E. Church, Tennille, Georgia with Rev. Pamela Hobbs officiating. Interment was held in Harrison City Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.

Addison, affectionately known as “Man’, was born on April 22, 1957 to the parentage of the late Mr. James T. Outlaw and the late Mrs. Laurette Davis Outlaw.

He attended the public schools of Washington County. He joined the New Tennille A.M.E. Church where he attended faithfully until his health declined.

Man was a jack of all trades. He was always lending a helping hand and had a hard time telling others no.

Mr. Outlaw leaves to cherish his memories a son: Mr. Kia Contrell Outlaw, Tennille, Georgia; grandson: Master Kha’Mari LaShawn Cato, Dublin, Georgia; god daughter, he loved as his own: Ms. Rachel Yorker, Tennille, Georgia; two sisters: Ms. Karen Ann Outlaw, Tennille, Georgia, Ms. Lynette Davis, Dayton, Ohio; three brothers: Mr. James Edward Davis, Wrightsville, Georgia, Mr. Henry Waddell (Lorraine) Outlaw, Sr., Mr. Joseph Purvey, Tennille, Georgia; two uncles: Mr. James (Mary) Hooks, Mr. Thomas (Effie) Outlaw, Tennille, Georgia; devoted cousins: Ms. Sandra Bryant, Ms. Rameka Jordan, Mr. Otis Bryant, Mr. Bobby Cannida, Burden Family; devoted friends: Mr. Calvin Curry, Ms. Barbara Jean Johnson, Ms. Mary Woodbury; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
