Ms. Lillie Burden

Ms. Lillie Burden, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at a local hospital. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Deepstep, Georgia with Rev. Bobby Warren officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Burden was born on November 22, 1939 to the parentage of the late Mr. Nathaniel Reeves, Sr. and the late Mrs. Eva Pearl Peeler Reeves.

She was a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church. She was a joy to be around and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Willie Burden, daughter: Ms. Luretha Kelly, five sisters: Ms. Nina Reeves, Ms. Eva Jones, Ms. Elizabeth Fluellen, Ms. Lola Reeves, Ms. Annie Kemp; five brothers: Mr. Nathaniel Reeves, Jr., Mr. Oscar Reeves, Mr. Odell Reeves, Mr. Tyrone Reeves and Mr. Adam Reeves.

Mrs. Burden leaves to cherish her memories a daughter: Ms. Dianne Reeves, Sandersville, GA; son: Mr. William (Corrine) Reeves, Sandersville, GA; three sisters: Ms. Mary Bell Zachary, Louisville, KY, Ms. Lois Reeves, Mayfield, GA, Ms. Betty Lou Reeves, Milledgeville, GA; ten grandchildren: Mrs. Veronica (Nelson) Jordan, Mr. Thomas (Crystal) Reeves, Mr. Kendrick Reeves, Mr. Nicholas Dixon, Mr. Demario Dixon, Mr. Jonathan Dixon, Mr. Adrian Reeves, Ms. Crystal Kelly, Mr. Ricardo Howard, Mr. Lacare James; devoted great grandchild: Ms. Breneshiah Jordan; devoted friend: Mrs. Sallie Bridges; a host of other relatives and friends.
