Mr. Willie B. Norris

Mr. Willie B. Norris, affectionately known as "Candyman" , passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Union Hill Baptist Church, Tennille, Georgia. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

He was born on March 31, 1954 to the parentage of the late Mr. Charlie B. Norris and the late Ms. Martha Brinson.

Mr. Norris attended T.J. Elder High School. He drove trucks for Coffee Construction, C.T. Harris and EA Mann until his health failed. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. Willie always had a smile and a joke.

Mr. Norris leaves to cherish his memories four children: Ms. Lacharda Norris, Sparta, Georgia, Ms. Beatrix Norris, Marietta, Georgia, Ms. Shambricka Darrisaw, Wrightsville, Georgia, Mr. Markeith Norris, Tampa, Florida; four sisters: Mrs. Ella (Charles) Ellison, Tennille, Georgia Ms. Joann Poole, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Betty (Charles) Mitchell, Ms. Martha Norris, Louisville, Georgia; one brother Mr. Daniel (Arletha) Norris Smyrna, Delaware; one aunt: Ms. Lois Norris, Wrightsville, Georgia; one uncle: Mr. L.W. Norris, Wrightsville, Georgia; nine grandchildren: Michael Norris, Marshall Norris, Martese Norris, Marquell Norris, Martevia Norris, Briana Davenport, Bianca Davenport, Ke’Andra Darrisaw, Reginald Darrisaw; ten great grandchildren; devoted friends: Mr. Rudolph Darrisaw, Mr. Melvin Smith, Ms. Bobbie Jean Johnson; a host of other relatives and friends.
