Mr. Richard Walker Jr.

Mr. Richard Walker Jr., passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Dublin, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Dean Smith officiating. Interment was held in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Richard “Pi” Walker, Jr., departed this life on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mr. Walker was born November 13, 1982 to the parentage of Ms. Wilhelmenia Ellison and the late Mr. Richard Walker, Sr.

Pi attended Washington County High School. He had unique working skills and was a jack of all trades. He liked to create and perform music, did numerous jobs in the community, construction with his Uncle Nate, mechanic work and worked at several fast food restaurants.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Mr. Antonio Derrell Thompson.

Mr. Walker touched the lives of many and left precious memories that will forever live on with his mother: Mrs. Wilhelmenia (Hureon) Gindraw, Sandersville, Georgia; four children: Miss A’lia Kambrika Walker, Mr. Trenton Boss, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Jamari Cemonter Taylor, Tennille, Georgia, Mr. Kamron Da’shun Howard, Atlanta, Georgia; grandmother: Mrs. Daisy Walker, Oconee, Georgia; grandfather: Mr. Tommy Gindraw, Sr., Tennille, Georgia; sister: Mrs. Adrian (Charles) Harris, Swainsboro, Georgia; brother: Mr. Buford Jackson, Tampa, Florida; nine aunts: Ms. Amilene Davis, Ms. Cheryl Ross, Tennille, GA, Ms. Mamie Kate Ross, Ms. Vernice Lane, Oconee, Georgia, Ms. Mary Frances, Macon, Georgia, Ms. Etha Stephens, Milledgeville, Georgia, Ms. Evelyn Walker, Michigan, Ms. Rochelle Bonner, Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Linda Davis, Brooklyn, New York; twelve uncles: Mr. Charles (Ella) Ellison, Mr. David (Helen Marie) Ellison, Mr. Tommy Gindraw, Jr., Tennille, Georgia, Mr. Jevon Gindraw, Mr. Hosea Griffin, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Nathaniel Walker, Mr. Lamar Walker, Oconee, Georgia, Mr. Calvin Colbert, Albany, Georgia, Mr. Robert Walker, Macon, Georgia, Mr. Kendarius Moss, Augusta, Georgia, Mr. Benjamin Walker, Florida, Mr. Dawayne Walker, Griffin, Georgia; devoted friends: Mr. Lamont Bloodsaw, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Jason Poole, Tennille, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
