Mr. Willie Odum Jr.

Mr. Willie Odum Jr. passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 in Macon, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday December 23, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Sinai with Pastor Joyce Waller officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

He was born on November 18, 1978 to the parentage of Mr. Willie Lee Odum, Sr. and the late Mrs. Carolyn Harden Odum.

Willie was a 1997 graduate of Baldwin County High School. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially meal times whether it was eating out or sharing a meal at home. He enjoyed cooking, playing video games and working on cars. Willie drove trucks for many years and worked at Pizza Hut, Milledgeville, Georgia before being hospitalized.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Mrs. Carolyn Harden Odum; grandmother: Mrs. Rutha Mae Odum and sister: Miss Katina Odum.

Mr. Odum is survived by his son: Mr. Shamar Odum, Milledgeville, Georgia; father: Mr. Willie Odum Sr., Milledgeville, Georgia; grandmother: Mrs. Ora Mae Harden, Sandersville, Georgia; wife: Mrs. Miranda Parks Odum, Atlanta, Georgia; step-son: Mr. Jessteon Parks, Atlanta, Georgia; Five aunts: Mrs. Claudia Moore, Mrs. Sallie Bridges, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Christine Hall, Mrs. Priscilia Harden, Milledgeville, Georgia, Mrs. Carolyn Crowder Harden, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Three uncles: Mr. Charles Harden, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. George Odum, Mr. Alexander Odum, Milledgeville, Georgia; devoted friend: Ms. Laura Johnson, Sandersville, Georgia.
